Weekly Sweeps

About the Tournament (Sweeps/Skins and Pins w/ Nassau)

This event is every Saturday of the month (except the 3rd week for special tournaments) with the first tee time at 7:40AM.  These events are open to members, their guests as well as potential golfers considering joining the club.  Note: Only members can complete for prizes

Tournament Format:

Low Gross

Prizes are awarded to the lowest overall gross score of all members for the tournament

Pins/Proximities

For designated holes (1 for the front, 1 for back) prizes are awarded to a golfer that in a single stroke has their ball come to rest closer than any other member

Skins

Prizes are awarded to a golfer who's score is lower (minus 1/2 course handicap) than any other member's score for a single hole

Nassau

Prizes are awarded to the lowest scores (minus course handicap) for the front nine and the back nine

Sweeps/Low Net

Prizes are awarded to the lowest scores (minus course handicap) for the entire round

Steps to compete in the tournament for prizes:

1. Join the Club 

2. Have an established USGA handicap index

3. Arrive before 7:30AM

4. Sign-in to the "groups" sheet.  This should be on a table outside of the snack shop.

5. Pay for your golf round at the pro-shop

6. Take your receipt to the starter

7. Warm-up until your tee time

8. Play the round of golf with your group

9. You or someone in your group will turn in the group's scorecard

10. Turn in your entry fee outside of the snack bar
